well this blog page seems to be working. Thank you to everyone who has looked and commented.
Now we have many ideas and inspirations and we can get started. The plan is to have 20 squares and each square is 12x12 inches.
This should be big enough for your creativity. If you have extra bursts of motivation, you can do more than one.
Please send the squares in by July 15th !
Also, please comment if you have any ideas or comments. I think this could be a good forum for our communication in the Byrne family. If you don't have a blogspot (it's okay most people don't) just click on "other" , type your name and then post your comment. Please let us know what you
think and share your ideas. I know we are all so far away and don't see each other too often.
Please let us know also if you want to join in and make a square (or two) if you haven't already.

Hello everyone,
Heidi reminded me that we will need to have room on the edge of our square for hemming. That means that the square should be a little bigger than 12x12. It can be 13x13 inches or so. This is just to ensure that we will not lose any of the design.
Does that make sense?
