habitat for humanity

many of you may have heard that i've been volunteering for the past year on a "women build" house for habitat for humanity. this last saturday, February 7th 2009, the home was dedicated to Leonora, a single mom with three sons.


i got to know leonora over the months and i am sure she will be welcomed into her new neighborhood, which is two blocks from Holy Redeemer Catholic School, the school that the McPheeters boys attend. she plans on sending her youngest son there and her two older sons attend Central Catholic and St. Andrew's Academy.
