Sunday July 2nd
What: quilting bee, for all in the portland/gorge area (can carpool with my mom (teri)) When: Sunday July 2nd, 2 pm Where: Heidi's apartment (call 9712275568 for directions please) Why: for a little help and inspiration on our squares What to bring: fabric (scraps too), ideas, family How about we sign our squares on the lower right hand corner with thread: first names, 3 initials or some creative signature ? ? ? ? any comments ? ? love heidi

I had an idea that we could buy iron on letters and put every single persons name on the back as a border or something along those lines.... what do you think? I don't know how to add pictures...

Maybe we ought to forget about signing the pieces and simply write (with permanent marker) on the back of the quilt all the names in the family = the family tree!
That way it will be from ALL her family no matter if only a few people are able to make a square.
Perhaps take $$$ financial donations $$$ for the purchase of fabric for the SIDES and BACKSIDE of the quilt.
O yeah, will you post the photos of the ones that you recieve???
